Ravioli with Vodka Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ½ c. vodka
  • 1 jar Marinara Sauce
  • 13 c. heavy cream
  • ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 (12 to 16 oz.) package fresh or frozen ravioli, cooked according to package directions

Directions

  1. Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet and cook onion 4 minutes or until tender. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add vodka and simmer 1 minute.
  2. Stir in Victoria® Marinara Sauce and bring to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in heavy cream and crushed red pepper.
  3. Serve over hot ravioli with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
